Alex Morenikeji Akanmu is a senior faculty member and mathematics educator. He is a registered teacher and member of several professional associations, including the Mathematical Association of Nigeria, Science Teachers Association of Nigeria, Science Association of Nigeria, and Institute of Planning. Akanmu has earned several awards and prizes, including the Osun State Cooperative College Best Graduating Student and the University of Ilorin Varsity Leadership Award. He has served in various positions and on many university committees as chairman or member. He was the Chief Examiner for the National Teachers’ Institute Mathematics Bachelor’s Degree program from 2015 to 2018 and is the immediate past Sub-Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Ilorin.
